An artist at heart, I desire to use creativity to encourage women, teens, and tweens through speaking, designing, and writing Bible Studies. Embracing my background in youth ministry and the arts, I founded ThouArtExalted in 2007. I feel beyond blessed to teach the Word of God through a creative venue. I have been married for 21 years and have four children, two chickens, a cat, and two golden doodles—Phineus and Gideon.
I am married to Sam and have two children, Maddie (14) and Jake (11). Because I am slightly insane, I homeschool both of them…and love it. I love watching Maddie dance and Jake play soccer, and we all love watching college football (Go Gators!) and our local professional soccer team (Go Armada!). I have a passion for sharing the love of God with tween and teen girls. I am so excited about this devotional because I want them to be comfortable navigating the Word of God and falling in love with it. I have such high hopes and dreams for this young generation. I love taking long walks listening to sermon podcasts. I think it is the only time I can truly be still. It is my therapy. I have a heart for youth ministry and missions. I am praying for God to do a mighty work through this daily devotional.
I grew up in Jacksonville, FL and graduated from Florida State University earning a business degree in Marketing. I joined the TAE team in March 2016, becoming the ministry’s first full-time employee, as the Director of Marketing and Communications. It is such a joy to work alongside Annie (who also happens to be my awesome godmother) and be a part of her ministry that I am so passionate about. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, spending time with my husband and family, and whipping up gourmet treats in the kitchen.
I am a wife to Lee and mother of three wild children– Mary Bullock, Bo and Tucker. My passions include reading, writing, studying the Bible and exercise. I combine many of these into being on staff for Trinity Fitness Ministries, whose mission is to inspire people through group fitness to get in the best physical and spiritual shape of their lives! I spend most of my waking hours just barely managing my household, working out, training classes, and dreaming of the day when all of our Trinity Fitness warriors will live their lives on fire for Jesus. My favorite ice cream is Jeni’s Salted Caramel.
I grew up in both South Carolina and North Carolina with the people I admire the most, my parents and two older brothers. Music has always been a great passion of mine, one which led me to pursue a degree in vocal performance at Furman University. While at Furman, I was a member of both the Furman University Singers and Furman Chamber Choir, performed in fully staged and orchestrated productions, studied music abroad in Arezzo, Italy at the Accademia dell’Arte, and was selected to perform in the Faculty Honors Recital. During my summers, I served as both a counselor and head staff member at an all-girls camp called Camp Greystone, developing a passion for mentoring middle and high school–aged students. With a keen interest in writing, I am a regular blogger for several non-profits and organizations geared toward adolescents. I spent the past year in Nashville, TN as a singer/songwriter. I hope to use my creative writing, music abilities, and passion for mentoring students to serve as a means of both inspiration and encouragement to those around me. I am currently a Fellow at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville, VA. Favorite Ice Cream: chocolate chip cookie dough
I am an artist/ worship leader / author from Jacksonville FL. I grew up writing and singing and making trips up to Nashville TN at age 13. I am probably best known for my music from the Christian girl pop group named, 1 Girl Nation. I wrote 2 songs from our first album and six songs on the current one. I was also a part of writing the 1 Girl Nation girls devotional book entitled, No filter that is published under Lifeway. I am currently teamed up with my husband, Austin, as part of a worship duo called “Austin & Lindsey Adamec” under the label Radiate Music in Nashville TN. I have a huge heart for girls’ ministry and long to help encourage girls of every age to see themselves through the eyes of Jesus and motivate them do big things for the Kingdom of God. A verse I like to claim over her life and others is 1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” My prayer is that this Devotional will help further girls in their walk with God and their knowledge of scripture.
I am on staff at Ortega UMC, where I was born and raised. I am a graduate of the University of Florida and was hired as Ortega’s youth director in 1997. I served in that role for 16 ½ years before transitioning to the Director of Christian Education in September of 2013. I am married to Jonathan Jennings and have two young boys, Jage and Jaks…plus one on the way. I am passionate about ministry and love being a part of my Church family. A huge passion of mine is sharing the love of God with teens.
I grew up in Sarasota, FL where I lived until going to college in West Palm Beach, FL. I studied Biblical and Theological Studies at Palm Beach Atlantic University where I served in a variety of ministry and leadership roles. I am daughter to Alph and Kathryn, and sister to Jason, Kelly, and Shane. I have served in some form of youth/women’s ministry since I was in high school, and have always felt a strong leaning toward writing and teaching. I currently live in Orlando, Florida where I serve as the Women’s Director of Student Ministries at Vista Community Church. I am passionate about women walking in freedom, knowing and understanding God’s word, and living adventurous, whimsical lives! I desire to see the nations come to know Jesus and serve internationally as often as Jesus allows. I am utterly obsessed with The Chronicles of Narnia, and could quote nearly every line of “You’ve Got Mail.” I will never turn down an opportunity to travel, a cup of coffee, or a bowl of ice cream, and I find absolutely nothing sweeter than the sound of laughter.
I am a west Texas woman married to an east coast pastor, now settled in Ohio after moving cross country 7 times. We have 4 teenagers and a goofy Goldendoodle named Canaan. Moving around taught us the importance of friends and family, so we make sure our house is always full of extra people, either hanging out or literally living with us. We live a crazy, busy, spontaneous life where no two days are ever the same, but that’s just the way we like it! My teenage years were rough, so I have soft spot for other teen girls and their struggles. I have been fortunate enough to work with them in youth ministry for the last 20 years. I am driven by a deep desire to see every one of God’s children set free through the infinite love of Christ. I get to live this out daily through my job at Rahab Ministries where I serve teenage victims of sex trafficking. I also have the privilege of being a part of a ministry in Thailand that works to prevent, intervene, and restore victims of sexual exploitation. I am super excited to be a part of this devotional and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things God does with it!
I’ve grown up in Tallahassee, Florida and am now a freshman at Florida State University where I’m working towards earning a degree in marketing. I’m involved in a campus ministry and spend most of my time studying, working part-time at a local boutique, blogging, and enjoying a good workout. I love photography and have a passion for combining words and inspiring photos to impact people’s hearts and lives. Instagram has become one of my favorite ways to connect with many other creatives and share with other young women who are facing similar difficulties in their lives. I pray that God works in great ways to show our generation that we are not alone, that He loves us infinitely, and that our worth is found in Him alone. My favorite Icecream is hands-down peanut butter chocolate gelato!
I moved to Florida a year ago from Santa Barbara, California, with my husband, Tyler, and our two daughters, Madalene and Hannah. I love working in the garden, strolling through Farmer’s Markets, and having lots of fresh flowers in the house. I have been involved in Christian ministry for more than twenty years through Young Life, Elijah House, and Believing Women. I love being creative–through writing or photography or design. My debut novel, Seven, was published in 2013, and tells the journey of Miriam of Magdala through a combination of historical fiction and spiritual insights.Favorite dessert is paleo No-bake Chocolate Cookies.
I am married to a Methodist minister, Mike, and we have three children: Mac, Lucy, and Jay and a black Lab named Hershey who has more allergies than anyone else in the house. She’s also an over-barker. I love to run and bake. I run so I can bake. My favorite free job was creating curriculum with a team of women for a vacation bible school program for tweens. That age is so open to the awe factor of God and everything they get to do is a thrill. If you can get a kid on fire for Jesus in middle school, it might just spark a life-long faith journey. My prayer is that they would discover that God works for the good of those who love Him and He has called them for a purpose. My favorite ice cream treat is a cookie dough blizzard.
I am a Jesus loving, coffee drinking, Netflix binging, pastor’s wife and homeschooling mom of three. I graduated college in May 2004 with my BFA in musical theatre and have been serving alongside my husband in the ministry since we were married a few months later. We have lived in 3 states and served in 3 churches in 12 years. My husband is my best friend and I love how God is writing our story. My kids are hilarious and the most interesting people I have ever met. Diving into God’s word and finding His truth is one of the most rewarding things I have found and I love sharing these truths with as many people as I can.
My favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip.
I am married to my best friend and love, Terrell, (28 years!) and we have three adult children—Terrell, Cecilia (another TAE writer), and Ellison who is married to Carter. These are my favorite people in the world. My passion is connecting girls and women to Jesus to help them discover how much he loves them and then helping them learn to partner with Him in every part of their life. I do this through speaking, writing, and just spending time together. Becoming a Peaceful Mom is my new book! I lead a Bible study for young women in our home. I like to take long brisk walks, ride bikes, dance, cook and then enjoy great conversation and laughter at the table, meet friends for coffee, travel, read, and go to movies. Coffee ice cream is my favorite.
A Florida native, I am wife to Josh and mother to 4 wildly beautiful boys between 8 years and 6 months old – Beckett, Merrick, Hollander and McGuire. I love these roles and find a secondary identity in them, as my primary identity is a daughter of the King. Following Christ’s direction for our family, I homeschool our boys and use Classical Conversations. My mission is mommyhood at this stage of my life, but I also had a life B.C. (before children). I earned a Bachelors in Nursing and enjoyed working in pediatrics and Labor and Delivery. Raised in the Christian faith, I didn’t find a personal relationship with Christ until I became a young adult. This project is a jewel and I am excited to be a part, as I loved being a small group leader for teenage girls also. My interests including grabbing Starbucks and heading to the beach with my boys, natural health remedies, and watching BBC shows while working on our endless pile of laundry. God has placed in my heart a passion for foster care and young mother charities. If I ever get a moment alone, napping is my favorite and if you give me chocolate, I will be a friend for life!
I have been married to, Lyles, my “love at first sight” for 34 years. We have two daughters , Hunter and Frances . Three years ago Frances married our wonderful son-in-law, Joe! Through the years several fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, dogs and horses have brought blessings to our family. I am a former school teacher turned home-maker upon the birth of our first daughter . Staying home allowed me to find the much desired time to watch our girls grow into their own . Raising them with Lyles was a joy!! Bible studies became a weekly activity in my life and volunteering in church, school, and community activities.
I can’t ever remember NOT knowing of God/Christ/Holy Spirit. Nature was my first spiritual lesson that I can remember and still is my constant reminder of HIS BEING. I enjoy my quiet time, being with my family in our country home, am an animal lover, enjoy riding horses, going out west, hiking, gardening, reading and exercising. Over the last several years, I have seen His provision, His perfect timing, His grace and the presence of the Holy Spirit on travels to Haiti (post earthquake) to work with children of a deaf community. GIVING THANKS and THANKSGIVING are my favorite spiritual topics in spreading the good news of Jesus! I still remind my children that they have “THEIR BEST FRIEND” (Jesus) with them all the time – lift up prayers of thanksgiving and talk to HIM about everything. My ABSOLUTE favorite flavor of ice cream is MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP — yummalicious!!
I am a wife to a devoted and loving husband, Jon, a mother of two amazing kids that the Lord uses to refine and draw me closer to Himself, and “dog-mom” to a crazy maltipoo that I call my “trusty steed” whose faithfulness holds a close second to Jesus. I spend part of my time preparing for and co-leading a 6th grade girls bible on Thursday mornings called Common Thread Thursdays. My passions are for children to know the deep love of Jesus and find their identity in Christ at an early age. Additionally my heart is in Africa with the people of Zambia longing for the orphans to know their adoption into the Kingdom that is found alone in Christ. Finally, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, a good hard workout and great food!

I grew up in Venice, Florida where I lived until I moved to West Palm Beach, Florida to attend Palm Beach Atlantic University. While I was at PBAU I received my degree in Ministry with a concentration in Student Ministries and a minor in Dance. Upon graduating I moved back to Venice, FL and took a position as the Director of Youth Ministries at Christ United Methodist Church. I am passionate about equipping students, especially girls, to say “Yes” to Jesus in every area of their lives. I love to sew, bake, and sip a hot cup of tea or coffee while talking about Jesus with my closest friends. I am married to my very adventurous husband, Ryan, and we have one furry son, an Australian Shepherd, named Zombie. We love to travel, go rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, and explore new coffee shops.
