President and Founder of ThouArtExalted: Author. Speaker. Creator.
An artist at heart, Annie Pajcic uses her creativity to encourage women, teens, and tweens through speaking and writing Bible Studies. Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, she attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas on a classical ballet scholarship and earned a BA in Communications. Upon graduation, she turned in her pointe shoes and danced into full-time ministry with Young Life: one year in Heidelberg, Germany and one year in Jacksonville, Florida. In 1994, God called Annie to study graphic design and illustration at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She returned to Jacksonville in 1995, married her best friend, Curry, and opened her own graphic design business, Annie Pajcic Design. Embracing her background in youth ministry and the arts, she founded ThouArtExalted in 2007. ThouArtExalted is a creative ministry that reaches tweens, teens, and women giving them a hunger to know God’s Word. She has written six summer studies, three-year-long studies for middle school boys and girls, a mother/daughter devotional, and her latest release Planted—Sit, Stand, and Walk with Jesus for women. Annie feels blessed to be able to teach the Word of God through a creative venue. She has been married for 20 years and has four children, two chickens, a cat, and two golden doodles—Phineus and Gideon.

Ann McCarthy worked for the NFL (NY office) and the Jacksonville Jaguars for 13 years. When she “retired” from the NFL in 2001 to start a family, she was director of development and events for the international division. Originally from NY, she married a Jacksonville native and has lived in Jacksonville for 17 years. They have two sons (Cort and Declan) and one daughter (Hannah). She got involved with TAE once Hannah started art camps in 4th grade and they were hooked! “We wanted to be a part of this amazing and creative ministry for these young girls and women for more than just one week at summer art camp. In her free time, Ann coaches many of her kiddos sports teams, helps at church, school and other organizations.
Joani Ross lives in Jacksonville with her husband, Sam, and two children, Maddie (13) and Jake (10). Because she is slightly insane, she homeschools both of her kids. She graduated with an accounting degree from University of Florida (GO GATORS!) and has an MBA from UNF. She has been blessed to help many businesses — corporate and non-profit — in the fields of accounting, strategy, research, brand management, and marketing over the course of her career. She attends Ortega United Methodist Church, where she is the youth council chair and a member of the missions committee (two areas she is deeply passionate about). She is also thankful that Annie is allowing a “Gator” to be on her team at TAE!
